Lazy Magnolia is Mississippi's oldest brewery and the first packaging brewery in the state since the end of prohibition. Our mission at Lazy Magnolia is to Make Mississippi a Better Place, One Pint at a Time. Mississippi has a bad reputation, and as native Mississippians, we know that much of that is undeserved. We believe that Mississippi is a beautiful state with much to offer residents and visitors. Everything we do at Lazy Magnolia showcases the charm, romance, and hospitality that truly define our state. We do that by brewing great beers that reflect Southern culture, tradition, and cuisine. Our guest area (soon to be tap room) is visited by people from all over the world. Lazy Magnolia is also developing a reputation as one of the best employers in our region by providing an excellent work environment, highly competitive benefits, and exciting careers with lots of potential for growth. As proof that we're living our mission and meeting our goals, our sales have grown from 500 BBL in year one to over 18,000 BBL in this, our tenth year in business. That is a truly astounding accomplishment for a brewery operating in one of the most rural and least beer friendly states in the nation. We are working hard to change perceptions about Mississippi, and we are working even harder to change beer policy in our state so that all citizens can truly prosper.
Company History
Lazy Magnolia was founded in 2004. We brewed our first batch in January 2005 and survived Hurricane Katrina later that year, bouncing back stronger than ever. Since that time we have experienced exponential growth. Our beer is currently available in 14 states throughout the Southeast and Mid West.
