Born on the workbench of a two two-car garage, Switchyard Brewing Company is a start-up brewpub coming to downtown Bloomington, Indiana. Founded alongside friends, family, and tradition in a passionate pursuit of developing our craft, Switchyard believes that small business can, and should be a catalyst for positive change in their communities. From the beginning of this journey, we dared ourselves to think differently. We believe that alongside our commitment to quality, our dedication to a high-involvement employee culture is what sets us apart. We are creating the perfect setting to share a unique experience with friends amongst great beer, music, and food. We believe that the design and set-up of the physical space in an urban setting sets the stage for that very unique customer experience that only our unique brewpub concept can provide. Besides being a production brewery, Switchyard will also feature a full kitchen, outdoor patio space, special event space, and live music. If you’re going to spend the morning at a coffee shop, why not spend the afternoon at a brewery? In a unique collaborative workspace twist, our warm and inviting family-friendly brewpub will be a place where students, entrepreneurs, developers, creatives and friends come together to create amazing things. Join us as we #ShareOurCraft with others in the historic Elm Heights neighborhood just two blocks from the Indiana University campus. We are targeting to open by late summer, early fall 2017.
